Media Library Folder Plugins

Flying Pigs puts uploads straight into a media folder as they land. Pick the folder in the run options before you press Start, and every file in the run goes into it. This is in Free as well as Pro.

Supported folder plugins

• FileBird
• Real Media Library
• CatFolders
• Mediamatic
• Folders by Premio
• Wicked Folders (switch on its media folders in its settings first)
• HappyFiles
• Any plugin that files media under a hierarchical taxonomy

Subfolders show as a tree in the dropdown, with the full path beside it once you pick one.

Good to know

• The folder applies to every run until you change it. Set it back to "none" when you do not want one, especially for an overwrite run, or the replaced files move into the chosen folder.
• Media folders are virtual. They change where a file shows in the library, not where it sits on disk. The disk folder follows the upload date, or in Pro the File date you pick.
• Some free versions of folder plugins, such as Real Media Library Lite and Mediamatic's free version, only allow top-level folders. That is their limit, not Flying Pigs'.
