How Flying Pigs saves your settings

Flying Pigs saves your choices as you make them. There is no Save button. What you change is kept in one of three places, depending on what it is.

For the whole site: the settings panels

The Media, Sizes, Delivery, Watermark and Advanced panels are saved for the site. Every user who uploads with Flying Pigs uses the same ones.

• Only administrators can change them. Other users who can upload see them and upload with them.
• A change applies to everyone's next run.
• Your Pro license and the delivery setup are site-wide too.

For you: the run options

The options above the panels are saved with your WordPress user:

• the media folder
• File date (Pro)
• Overwrite existing files and Overwrite match (Pro)
• Set post date (Pro)
• Attach to WooCommerce products by SKU (Pro)

They follow you to any computer you log in from, and nobody else's choices change yours. If two people upload to the same site, each keeps their own folder and dates. The run options apply to every run until you change them, so set the folder back to "none", or turn Overwrite off, when you are done with it.

In this browser only

• The order of the settings panels, if you dragged them into a different order.
• The watermark maker's last text and logo.
• What a run needs to pick up where it left off after a dropped connection or a closed tab.

These stay on the computer and browser you used. Another browser starts from the defaults.

Changing settings during a run

The run options and the panels are locked while a run is going, so every file in a run gets the same settings. Change them before you press Start, or after the run ends.

Starting over

Reset all settings to defaults, at the bottom of the Advanced panel, puts the site-wide panels back to their defaults and clears your own run options. Other users' run options are not touched, and your Pro license is kept.
