Terms of sale and use

These terms cover buying and using a Flying Pigs Pro license. The free Flying Pigs Uploader needs no purchase and no account.

Who we are

Flying Pigs Uploader and Flying Pigs Pro are owned by Quiazon Holdings INC. (“we”, “us”) and developed by 48hmorris. Pro licenses are sold by Quiazon Holdings INC. on this site, flying-pigs.wpspeedmeup.com. You can reach us through the help desk.

The software and its license

Both plugins are free software, released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, like WordPress itself. Nothing in these terms takes away any right the GPL gives you over the code.

Flying Pigs Uploader, the free plugin, is distributed through WordPress.org and needs nothing from us.

What you buy with Flying Pigs Pro is a license key. An active key:

  • switches on Pro’s uploads and Pro tools on the number of sites you bought, 1, 3 or 10;
  • brings Pro updates to those sites’ Plugins page;
  • gives you support through the help desk,

for one year on each site, counted from the day you activate the key there.

What an active license is needed for

Flying Pigs Pro does not upload without an active license for the site it runs on. If the license expires, is removed, or is for a different site, Pro stops uploading until a license is active again. There is one day of grace after the expiry date.

When a license lapses, nothing already uploaded is touched: your media library, files and settings stay as they are. You can keep uploading with the free Flying Pigs Uploader, without the Pro tools. After expiry you keep the Pro version you have, but new versions cannot be downloaded until you renew.

Sites

A license covers the number of sites bought, each identified by the address WordPress runs on, without “www”. A staging or test copy on a different address counts as another site. You may use Pro on sites you run for clients, as long as the license covers each of them.

To move a license to another site, remove it from the old site in the License panel and activate it on the new one. If the new site is refused, open a ticket and we will move it.

Your license key

Your license key is for you. Do not share it, publish it, sell it or give it away. Completed purchases are non-transferable: a license stays with the person who bought it. We may deactivate a key that is shared or used on more sites than it covers.

Buying, prices and delivery

  • Payments are handled by PayPal, which takes the payment by PayPal account or card. We never see or store your card details.
  • Prices are in US dollars and shown on the home page. We may change prices at any time; a change never affects a license you have already bought.
  • After your payment goes through, you receive an email with your license key and how to get started. Download Flying Pigs Pro from the download page with that key and email address. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then open a ticket.
  • If a price is shown wrongly by mistake, we may decline or refund that order.

Renewal

A license runs for one year on each site from the day it is activated there, and does not renew by itself. Nothing is charged automatically. To keep Pro uploading and updating, renew before the expiry date.

Refunds

Completed Pro purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please try the free Flying Pigs Uploader first. It runs the same image engine on the same page, so it shows you how Flying Pigs works on your host and your connection before you buy.

If you were charged twice for the same license by mistake, open a ticket and we will refund the duplicate.

Support

Support is through the help desk and its knowledge base, for as long as your license is active. We help with Flying Pigs itself. We cannot support other plugins, themes or hosts, though we will look into a conflict with them where we can.

Emails

We send emails about your purchase and license only: your receipt and key, and notices about your license, renewals or these terms. We do not send newsletters or share your address.

No warranty

Flying Pigs is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It is built and tested on a standard WordPress install, but we cannot promise it works with every plugin, theme, host or browser. Keep backups of your site and your original files.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, Flying Pigs, including loss of data, profit or business. In any case, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect a license you have already bought for the rest of its year.
