The short version: your photos never come to us. Flying Pigs processes them in your browser and uploads them to your own site. The free plugin sends nothing anywhere. We only hold what a purchase and a license need.

Who we are

Flying Pigs Uploader and Flying Pigs Pro are owned by Quiazon Holdings INC. (“we”, “us”) and developed by 48hmorris. Quiazon Holdings INC. is responsible for the personal data described here. This policy covers the two plugins, this website, the store, the license server and the help desk. Questions go to the help desk.

Your photos and files

Your images are processed in your own browser and uploaded to your own WordPress site. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them.

Flying Pigs Uploader (the free plugin)

The free plugin makes no connection to any outside service. It does not contact our servers, collects nothing, and has no account, tracking or analytics. Its settings are stored in your own WordPress database, and a few conveniences, such as the order of the settings panels, in your own browser.

Flying Pigs Pro

Pro makes three kinds of outside connection, and never sends your files in any of them:

  • License checks, to our license server on this site, when you activate or refresh a license, about once a day by itself, and when an update is downloaded. They send the license key, the buyer email and your site’s address, which we use to confirm the license is valid for that site.
  • Update checks, to our update service at updates.wpspeedmeup.com, when WordPress looks for plugin updates. They send nothing about you or your site beyond the request itself.
  • The link check, only when you press Check my link, or if you switch on the automatic link check. It sends 10 MB of meaningless test data to Cloudflare’s speed test, and the same to your own site, to time your connection. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy applies to that test.

Buying a license

When you buy Pro, payment is handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card details. PayPal’s privacy policy covers what you give them.

From the purchase we keep your name and email address, what you bought, when, the amount and the PayPal transaction reference. We use them to send your license key and receipt, to check your license, and to help you if something goes wrong.

For each license, our license server keeps the key, the buyer email, and the address of each site it is activated on, with that site’s activation and expiry dates.

The help desk

When you open a ticket, the help desk keeps what you send: your name, email address, your message and any files or logs you attach, plus the details you fill in, such as your site address and license key, and the IP address the ticket came from. We use them only to answer you.

This website

  • This site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
  • The store uses one session cookie while you check out, so it can remember your order. The help desk uses its own session cookie while you use it. Neither follows you around the web.
  • The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google’s servers for the font files.
  • Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and to fix problems.

Emails

We email you only about your purchase and license: your key and receipt, and notices about your license or these policies. No newsletters, and we never sell or share your address.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data. It is handled only by the services that make the store and site run: PayPal for payments, our web host for this site and its databases, and Cloudflare for the update service’s files. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase and license records while your license is active, and afterwards for as long as we need them for renewals, support and our tax and accounting records. Help desk tickets are kept so we can refer back to them if you write again. Ask us to delete your data and we will, except where we must keep it by law.

Your choices

You can ask us, through the help desk, what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also remove a license from a site at any time in the License panel.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our terms of sale and use.
