Upload Issues (File Upload Errors)

An upload issue is a problem with one file. It is different from a network error: the connection was fine, but this file could not be uploaded.

Where to see them

When a file fails, an Upload issues button appears beside the run buttons. It shows failed files over all files in the list, for example 2 / 558. Click it to see each file with its message. Click a file name to find that file in the list, where its row is marked Failed and the detail line says why.

What they mean for the run

An upload issue affects only its own file. The run carries on and the rest of the files land normally. Read the messages when the run ends.

Typical causes:

• The browser could not read the file as an image. It may be damaged, or in a format the engine does not know.
• WordPress or the server does not allow that file type.
• An overwrite (Pro) could not be matched safely to one existing entry.
• A security rule on the server rejected that file.

When the whole run stops

A few problems stop the whole run instead of one file: the server running out of disk space, or requests failing for the whole Upload timeout (see Network Errors). The summary card then says Upload stopped or Upload Network Error with the reason.
